This source-led archive documents two political assassinations and six distinct mass attacks, including the separate 2002 and 2023 attacks at El Ghriba. It preserves convictions, acquittals, appeals and enforcement limits without merging separate events.
“Solved” means that courts established criminal responsibility. It does not mean every appeal is exhausted, every sentence was enforced or every alleged organizer was prosecuted.
A terrorism court convicted 18 defendants in 2024, imposing four death sentences, two life terms and other prison sentences. Later appellate reporting does not justify treating every wider allegation as established.

Eight defendants received death sentences at first instance in 2025. The 2026 appeal judgments individualized the outcomes, including prison terms of 10 to 60 years and one death sentence with 30 years.

All eight files have adjudicated cores. Courts convicted specific defendants in El Ghriba, Bardo, Sousse, the presidential-guard bus bombing, Ben Guerdane and the assassinations of Chokri Belaid and Mohamed Brahmi.
Each event occurred on a different date, at a different location and involved distinct victims. Investigative links do not erase those distinctions.
